?Work with project sponsor to define scope, constraints, stakeholders, quality, and how the project aligns with business strategy.
?Assess and determine the need for additional resources, and make the appropriate recruitments (if necessary) during project cycle.
?Develop a full-scale project plan and associated communications documents.
?Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. 
?Develop and deliver status reports
?Manage project financials and budget for assigned projects
?Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.  Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
?Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
?Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
?Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and influence them to take action and accountability for their assigned work.  
?Promote and ensure integrated team approach to project management by setting and continually managing project expectations.
?Build, develop, and grow business and technical relationships vital to the success of the project.
?Manage the various relationships that are vital to project success:  those within the project team; between project team and functional groups; between project team and senior management; and between project and the customer.
?Conduct project lessons learned and recommend process improvements as appropriate

Education and Experience:
?5+ years managing cross-functional and multi-site project teams
?Proven track record of  technical project management
?Good working knowledge of Mainframe and Distributed systems
?Exceptional communications skills 
?PMP preferred but not required
