Qualifications:

Native Staffing is currently searching for a Migration Technician with the following responsibilities:

Technicians are needed to support the tech refresh and scripted deployment of Windows 7.  Technicians will be responsible for execution of scripts, asset tracking of legacy equipment and new equipment, workstation decommission and hardware moves.  Resources could be supporting multiple locations but not more than 1 per deployment.  Main support location would be downtown Chicago, but if there are no deployments, you could be scheduled at one of the other support location in the surrounding area (Downers Grove, Elgin).   Current hours are 20- 40 hours per week depending on deployment schedule.


Techs will be responsible for:
1.?Meet with Lead at 4PM to get deployment assignment for the night
2.?Gather required equipment and build media from Lead
3.?Perform the actual upgrade and migration activity at end user location or in command center
4.?Perform testing to ensure system is functional and update inventory information in Database.
5.?Coordinate with end users to receive equipment for upgrade 
6.?Move equipment from storage location to staging area and back as needed for deployment activity
7.?Provide information for pickup of decommission equipment
8.?Decommission old equipment
9.?Get legacy equipment ready for VAR pickup


Shift Hours / Work Locations:
?? The team will work ONLY when deployment activity is scheduled at your location
?? Deployments will occur in the evening and support will occur the following morning.
?? If there are no deployments scheduled for that week - we will not be scheduled to be onsite
??
