The outcome of this POC will allow the client to determine how migration from existing version of Toplink to this new tool is to be performed.

Opportunity Summary
This is a Staff Augmentation role (6 months) to assist the IT Department with the analysis of client's existing business processes supporting technology compared to the Defense Information Assurance Certification Accreditation Process (DITSCAP/DIACAP)

Essential Responsibilities
Key focus is to identify controls for the technology platform by using Gold Disk. Resolution to false positives and vulnerabilities found, identify compensating controls if vulnerabilities cannot be appropriately mitigated.

If compensating controls are not in place the consultant will prepare a remediation plan with time lines to meet DITSCAP/DIACAP compliance. All analyses will be at platform level.
Requirements

DITSCAP/DIACAP Regulations Standards, Intrusion Detection Systems, Identity Managements, Microsoft 2000

Compare Clients Enterprise computing environment to DITSCAP/DIACAP standard and thoroughly document compliance

Previous DITSCAP/DIACAP auditing experience is a plus including experience with Microsoft Access

Must be an expert on DITSCAP/DIACAP

Experience in bringing a commercial organization in Authority to Operate would be a bonus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for system engineers with knowledge of aircraft systems - NO Information Technology (IT) system engineers. 

Requirements Development will include the analysis, decomposition and allocation of high-level requirements using the DOORS database application. Verification planning and coordination includes the determination of verification methods for requirements, including tests, analyses, demonstrations, and inspections; coordination of ownership and planning of these verification activities, and providing their status. 

System integration activities will include participating in the resolution and clarification of inter-segment and inter-IPT requirements and responsibilities. Once problem areas are identified, the system engineer will assist in refining, clarifying and communicating the necessary requirements as needed to resolve these concerns. 

This job requires an understanding of the operation and interrelationships of aircraft systems; an appreciation for the impact that configuration changes may have on performance related attributes, cost and schedule; and communication skills which allow relevant data to be collected, integrated, and distilled for decision making purposes.
  
Must have knowledge of aircraft systems.
Bachelor of Science and 7-10 years experience
US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Approx 24 month contract position
