Our client, located in the Princeton area is seeking a Technical Writer for an immediate contract position.

Responsibilities
:

Learn and understand the terminology of the business, technology and company
·
Generate document deliverables following a standard development life cycle
·
Drive documentation review and approval processes
·
Interview subject matter experts to obtain information and translate the information into clear and accurate documents
·
Work closely with various cross-functional teams throughout the organization
·
Provide feedback and guidance on creating documentation to the project team and sponsor
·
Work independently on provided goals and meet deliverable targets
Deliverables:
·
Create documentation for IT governance and technology risk management.
Examples of deliverables include:
o
Process flows and manuals
o
Policy documents
o
Presentation documents
o
KPI related reports
·
Generate project level documentation (i.e. requirements, design, status reports, etc) based upon input from project teams
·
Create paradigm for managing internal documents using Share Point.
Requirements:
·
Minimum 5 years of experience described above in job responsibilities
·
Experience in designing technical documentation as well as the related publishing methods
·
Financial Services industry expertise is a must
·
Experience in writing IT process documentation is a must
·
Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus
·
Ability to read and understand deep technical documentation is a plus
·
Experience with software development organizations is a plus
·
Knowledge of Info Sec principles and/or Audit/Sarbanes Oxley controls a plus
·
College degree in a related or technical discipline is a plus
