Our client, located in South Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Oracle RAC for an immediate Contract to Hire position.
Details include:



Oracle RAC on Linux expert to help augment the Database Administrator (DBA) staff and support the clients database platform until additional DBA's are up to speed in Oracle RAC and Oracle Streams technologies.


Required Skills:

-10+ years Oracle DBA experience in a medium to large Oracle database environment
-5+ years Linux experience preferably as a System Administrator
-5+ years experience in architecting and building high availability database environments
-3-5 years Oracle RAC on Linux for large internet facing web sites that use one or more of the following technologies: JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat, Websphere
-1-3 years Oracle Streams experience preferably from one Oracle RAC environment to another Oracle RAC environment
-7-10 years supporting highly available production environments on an oncall basis
-Excellent communication skills as this person will be working with DBAs, Linux System Administrators, Network Engineers, and developers
-Excellent troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving production problems quickly in high availability environments

Additional Skills:

-3-5 years development experience preferably in an Oracle RAC environment
Oracle Streams experience
