Our client, located in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Technical for an immediate Contract position.
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for the day-to-day recruitment and sourcing of experienced technology professionals. This role serves as an end-to-end resource for hiring managers and will be responsible for identifying resource requirements, sourcing candidates through various methods, conducting phone interviews, negotiating offers and closing candidates.

4+ years experience in an Information Technology recruiting environment. A mix of Agency and Corporate experience is a plus
Clearly defines and obtains position requirements, and gathers information regarding group environment/ platform, culture, etc., to ensure proper candidate suitability
Conducts searches for candidates using traditional and creative sourcing methods, including but not limited to: online searches, Internet postings, job/career fairs, internal database searches, local colleges, referrals and resumes
Conducts phone screens to determine candidate suitability by evaluating commitment, assessing relevant experience, education and skills
Provides candidates information about the client and promotes the benefits of a career with the client
Coordinates and schedules interviews
Effectively manages and prioritize requisition workload
Tracks individual recruiting activity including resumes received, interviews conducted, number of hires
Reports metrics to Sr. Management on a weekly basis
Performs other duties as assigned.
Full-life cycle recruiting experience required
Solid understanding of technology skill sets (JAVA, C++, UNIX, ORACLE, Testers, SQL, etc.)
Experience in simultaneously handling multiple positions (20 minimum)
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience with Internet sourcing strategies (AIRS certification preferred)
Ability to handle 20-30 plus requisitions simultaneously
Superior follow-up and negotiating skills
Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking software
Demonstrated ability to develop effective business relationships.
Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with candidates/clients at all levels.
Requires ability to effectively multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be driven and committed to delivering solid candidates.
